The Roque Family: Summer: Cold Feet

Gunnar Roque was your typical bad boy but he had a certain air about him at least that is what Cher thought. Cher decided to hire him in a shop she used to own selling furniture. She liked that he was so creative and thought he would do well and be inventive enough to sell the pants off her customers. She was right he got so great at it she promoted him to manager. Soon enough they became best friends. They enjoyed spending time together. One night Cher invited Gunnar over it was a typical night for them nothing particularly planned that was special at least that was what Cher thought. Cher was head over heels with him as he was with her. Sure they have their arguments now and then but what sim doesn't?

Cher wanted him desperately to propose to her but she knew Gunnar didn't believe in committing to marriage so soon if not at all. Gunnar knew he wanted to be with her but he also didn't want to commit so soon so he thought, " I know if I ask her to marry me maybe she will lay off on the marriage talk for awhile." Little did he know that once he proposed to her on the very ordinary night she would be so overcome with joy that she wanted to get married right away. That was not the idea Gunnar had in mind but he just couldn't break his promise what could he say he did love her.

After a few days Gunnar moved in with Cher they started discussing a vacation. They really wanted to go and relax (at least that was what Gunnar thought anyway). Cher had other plans in mind with the trip and what it had in store for them. They decided to go to Takemizu Village. They rented a hotel for three days and two nights in the Dragon Springs hotel.
They couldn't wait to start their relaxation. Gunnar spent time in the pool while Cher got a massage. After that they eat and went into the sauna before heading to bed. The next day, They went on a boating tour which they loved and then went to purchase souvenirs.

On the third day, Cher surprised Gunnar with a tux as she had already packed her wedding dress. "A tux? But I don't understand babe I thought you'd want to wait to invite your friends for our wedding and it is way too short notice to do so now?"said Gunnar. "Well I thought since we were here and this place is beautiful we should just go for it and seize the moment!" said merrily by Cher. "Will this really make you happy?"said hesitantly by Gunnar. "Yes!!! It'd make me the happiest woman in the SimWorld!"said ecstatically by Cher. "OK then we lets do it" said the petrified Gunnar. "let's do it what was I thinking! But there is no turning back now" he thought to himself.

They went to The lucky shrine park by the coin toss where they exchanged their vows to one another. Gunnar was so nervous he wanted to just run for the hills! But then he saw her face and knew their was no place he'd rather be then with her.
After their ceremony, they decided it was time to go home. They came back feeling refreshed more then ever at least Cher did. Gunnar still wonders maybe Cher is better off without him and that she could do better then him. He knows he loves her but he wonders if he is holding her back. She is a good girl she doesn't really need to be married to a bad guy like me my reputation precedes me. I want to escape from it and show her I can be all that she needs hopefully I can live up too it!" thought Gunnar.

Cher decided when they got home it would be a great idea to put their wedding in a photo album so if they have children their children can look back on their moment. She also thought why not stop there "we should have wedding portraits done also!" So they did they have three pictures hanging in their sitting room. After the picture taking and album making, Gunnar started to feel a little bit better about being married and with things going so smooth he thought it was time for them to have a baby to which Cher agreed.

Next update: How will things go for Cher and Gunnar the newlyweds? Will they be able to conceive? Will they even make it past their newlywed bliss? Will Gunnar fold under the pressure of being married, having children, and finding a job he wants? Stay tuned for the next post!
